Autovia on the front line with Fortitudo Bologna 103, bringing concrete help to the Ukrainian population

At a difficult time such as the period we are living in, influenced not only by the health emergency but above all by the tragic situation that is affecting the whole of Europe as a result of events in Ukraine, we have decided to take to the field and offer our concrete help.

SOSTENIAMO LA PACE (we support peace) #STOPWAR was brought into existence thanks to Fortitudo Bologna 103 and Fortitudo per il Sociale APS (Fortitudo for Social, Association for Social Promotion). We are playing an important part in this programme, in cooperation with CONAD Bologna and the ITALIA-UCRAINA Maidan (Italy-Ukraine Maidan) European Cultural Association, offering a concrete contribution in support of Ukraine‘s civilian population.

The project has made it possible to collect essential goods in Conad supermarkets by means of help from individual citizens who donated both products that they already had at home and others that they purchased specially at the supermarket.

In this scenario, Autovia has provided, free of charge, two minibuses that are essential for transporting the goods, which will first of all reach the border with Romania, more specifically at a reception centre, and then the Chernivtsi customs post. After that, they will be delivered to various Ukrainian cities, hospitals, reception centres and orphanages.

We are grateful to be able to offer our solidarity and to join forces with sport as part of a wider project, aimed at helping the country to face a period of deep humanitarian crisis in the hope that this will encourage many people to do their part.
